HOW IS THE CONTENT OF THE SAT EXAM?

The exam consists of four parts: Reading – Writing + Language + Math 1 (No Calculate) – Math 2 (Calculate). The number of questions in these sections is 52 - 44 - 20 - 38, respectively. The duration of the exam is three hours. Then, an optional 50-minute essay writing time is given. Only some universities require essays. In the multiple-choice exam, wrong answers do not affect the correct answers. The minimum score is 400 and the maximum score is 1600. The result of each test varies between 200-800 points. Foreign students are exempted from the composition section in their applications to universities within the borders of Turkey.

Another type of exam that universities in Turkey take into account in the admission of foreign students is the AP (Advanced Placement Program). It is organized by the AP College Board. AP exams are held once a year. Exam results are evaluated out of 5. There is also a scoring system with letters. If your high school does not give AP, you can get AP from another school.
